Estate Grenache
Wine
Adelina Estate Grenache is grown on the grey, sandy loam soils of Block 2 of Adelina's Clare Valley vineyard. The Grenache vines date back to the 1940s.
After destemming, half of the fruit is kept as whole berries while the remainder is crushed. Fermentation takes place in concrete vessels with two weeks of maceration on the grape skins. The wine then matures in 700 litre neutral oak barrels.
Bright red, Adelina Estate Grenache is medium bodied with spicy red fruit flavours and fine tannins. Cellaring potential is seven years.
